Stop Guessing. Start Editing with Intention.
Transform your photos with a personalized, 1-on-1 video critique and re-edit of your own RAW file. I'll show you not just what to do, but why you're doing it.
Does This Sound Familiar?
You watch hours of tutorials, but your photos never look like the ones in the video.
Your edits feel "off", but you can't pinpoint exactly what's wrong.
You move sliders back and forth, hoping to stumble upon a great edit, but lack a consistent process.
You have a vision in your head, but you struggle to translate it into a finished image in Lightroom.
This Isn't Another Tutorial.
This Is a Personalized Breakthrough.
For years, I've received questions like, "How did you edit that?" And while tutorials are a great starting point, they can't see your photo, understand your vision, or adapt to your specific challenges the way I can.
That's why I created EditLab. It’s a one-on-one mentorship session focused entirely on your photos. I'll personally dive into your RAW file, diagnose the challenges, and rebuild the edit from the ground up, explaining my entire thought process on video. It's the closest thing to sitting next to me at my computer.

Massive thanks to Zac again for the breakdown, it was really helpful. A lot of what he showed me I hadn’t thought about before, especially the idea of leaning into bright skies or strong contrast instead of always trying to fix them. The way he explained cropping to tidy up a frame and keeping edits subtle so they don’t look flat really clicked with me.
I also liked how he walked through my actual photos rather than just giving generic tips, seeing the before and after made it much easier to understand. I definitely learned a few things I’ll take into how I shoot and edit going forward.

The EditLab critique was honest, direct, and incredibly helpful. Seeing the potential in my own file, edited by a pro, was an absolute eye-opener and has already changed how I approach my post-processing workflow. The specific feedback on my use of color and local adjustments was the most valuable I've ever received on my photography. It’s one thing to watch a tutorial, but it’s another thing entirely to see those concepts applied directly to your own work. Highly recommended.

Zac took the time to review 2 of my images in a video that I sent over unedited. 1 was Landscape and 1 was a street shot. It was such a helpful video and his tips both in Lightroom and also in terms of looking how to take my shots better has given me a better perspective and it was extremely well delivered and very formal for understanding what was happening to the image and why.
The 1st thing Zac taught me right away is to make sure my image is centred, straight and cropped which is something I am not great with and it certainly gave me a different perspective. The 2nd thing Zac showed me was how to look for colours and what works best with the image and how to bring the subject of the image more to the eye.
I am very grateful for Zac’s breakdown and would recommend highly to those who are looking to understand Lightroom or photography in a better way
Have Questions? I've Got Answers.
What photos can I submit?
RAW files (.CR2, .NEF, .ARW, .DNG, etc.) are heavily preferred as they contain the most data for a professional edit. However, you can also submit high-quality JPEGs, just know that the editing possibilities might be more limited.
How long does it take to get my review back?
The official turnaround time is 7 days, but I almost always deliver sooner. I personally review every submission, so this buffer ensures I can give your photos the attention they deserve.
What if I use Capture One or another program?
The editing portion of the video takes place in Adobe Lightroom Classic. However, the core concepts like color theory, contrast, masking, and shaping light are universal principles that you can apply in any modern editing software.
How is this different from a preset or tutorial?
Presets and tutorials are fantastic tools for learning and consistency. EditLab is the next step: a completely personalized experience. Instead of general advice, you get specific feedback on your photo, your composition, and your style. It's designed to teach you the 'why' behind the edit, giving you skills that you can apply to all your future work.
